BlackTexas.com is an Internet resource magazine that networks African-Americans in Texas. Established in January, 1999, this site features news and editorials, discussion boards, business directory listings, and more that are essential to maintaining a sense of community via the Internet. BlackTexas.com services over 8600 registered users via it's weekly newsletter and averages over 40,000 pageviews per month.

The Hook Up Card is a marketing campaign that began in January 2001. The Hook Up Card is a Savings Card featuring our companies subsidiary corporate logo's. We partnered with Blimpie Subs & Salads, Bennigans Grill & Tavern, Grandy's, Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits, Sally's Beauty Supply, & Jiffy Lube to offer statewide discounts for our initial Texas market area. We also established a network of local, merchant partner savings as well. The Hook Up Card will allow us to build brand identity while at the same time offering our viewers local promotional savings opportunities to different businesses. This campaign will be instituted in every market that we service.

MiTejas.com will be an Internet resource magazine that networks Latino-Americans in Texas much like our blacktexas.com project. We anticipate the full launch of MiTejas services by the Fall 2001.
